Mick Mars' New Photo Since Chaos With Motley Crue Uploaded
JAKARTA - Ash Avildsen, founder of the famous rock label Sumerian Records, shared several new photos of Mick Mars, apparently taken at the Motley Crue guitarist's home, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Avildsen posted the photos on Tuesday, May 9, with the caption: "landing on mars. This is real. #teammick #mickmars #motleycrue #livinglegend".
It is currently unclear whether Avildsen has spoken to Mars about the possibility of releasing his long-awaited guitarist's solo project through his label.
In April 2022 it was revealed that Paul Taylor - known as the great guitarist/keyboardist who has worked with many artists as composers and musicians for decades, most famous for Winger - collaborated with Mars on a long-awaited solo album.
"I wrote most of the albums with Mick and [ Alabama musician] Jacob Bunton, who sang with [former Guns N 'Roses drummer] Steve Adler," Paul was quoted as saying by Blabbermouth on Thursday.
"I and Jacob have written a lot together for TV. I'm very excited to publish it."
Paul went on to say that he was impressed with Mick's ability as a guitarist and songwriter.
"Mick is amazing, and the endless cool things he produces and voice palettes," he said. "There were days where I just asked, 'Is that the guitar (sound)? Did you do all that?' [It's been] very fun. I'm very happy about that."
According to Paul, he worked with Mars and Bunton on Mick's solo album "for a good year and a half. And Mick doesn't really want me to talk too much about it," he explained.

"But he said it's okay just to say it's a tough album - it's definitely tough - and it's very versatile. I feel very lucky to be able to sit and work with him and turn these things into songs. I think it's going to surprise some people. It's really cool."
Mars has been working on its solo album live and dead for at least seven years. Some of the initial sessions for this LP are led by producers who recently retired Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Accept, Warrant, Skid Row) at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, where Mars has lived for about a decade.
