If So Kaporli, Komjen Sigit: No More Children Report Processed Mother

JAKARTA - Komjem Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that in the future, law enforcement will be carried out humanely and uphold justice. Not in the context of legal certainty.

This was conveyed by Komjen Sigit during the fit and proper test as a candidate for Chief of Police at Commission III of the DPR, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 20.

"Currently, people need law enforcement that upholds a sense of justice for the community. Not law enforcement is not in the context of legal certainty," said Komjen Sigit.

For this reason, he said, if he was elected to the Chief of Police, there would be no more cases of children reporting their mothers and being processed. According to him, laws like this are only to seek legal certainty.

"Because it is only for realizing legal certainty, a child should no longer report his mother. Then the mother is in process and now the process is ongoing and will enter the trial," he said.

Meanwhile, Agesti (19), who reported her mother, Sumiyatun (36), to the police on charges of domestic violence, finally withdrew the report.

The case of a Demak resident previously went viral on social media. Finally, this child and mother have forgiven each other.
