SEA Games Standings 2023: Still At The Top, The U-22 Indonesian National Team Still Must Win Against Timor Leste
JAKARTA - The U-22 Indonesian national team will face Timor Leste in the third match of the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games Group A, Sunday, May 7. The match between the two teams will take place at the Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh.
Victory must be achieved by Pratama Arhan and his friends if they want to smooth the steps to the semifinals of the 2023 SEA Games.
Currently, the Garuda Muda national team is at the top of the Group A standings with six points from two matches. This point was achieved when they successfully defeated the Philippines in the inaugural match with a score of 3-0 and won a landslide victory over Myanmar with a score of 5-0.
If they are able to win over Timor Leste in the third match, Indra Sjafri's team will certainly qualify for the semifinals even though there is still one match left against the host Cambodia, Wednesday, May 10.
If Indonesia wins Group A then in the semifinals they will face Group B runners-up. If they become group runners-up, then Marselino Ferdinand and his friends will face Group B winners.
