Steal Citizens' Motorbikes, Students In Maros Arrested By Jatanras

MAROS - Police arrested a student with the initials Sa (17) for stealing a resident's motorcycle. This theft occurred in Bonto Kamase Hamlet, Maros, South Sulawesi (Sulsel).

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Maros Police, Iptu Rusly, said the suspect was arrested after the police conducted an investigation.

"The suspect was arrested on Monday, January 18, at around 18.38 WITA, which was carried out by the Jatanras team from the Maros Police. The evidence was secured by a motorbike," Iptu Rusly told reporters, Tuesday, January 19.

The theft was carried out by this student and his colleague, Am, Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the early hours.

"One co-perpetrator is still in the process of being chased," said Iptu Rusly.

The perpetrator admitted that he had stolen a motorcycle. The perpetrator and the evidence were secured at the Jatanras Post at the Maros Police for examination.

"The perpetrator admitted that he had stolen a motorbike at that location," said Rusly.
