Tomorrow Is The Final Limit, 148 Hajj Candidates From Banyumas Have Not Confirmed BPIH's Repayment
The Banyumas Regency Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) stated that 148 Hajj candidates from Banyumas who will depart for the Holy Land in 2023 have not confirmed the payment of the Hajj Implementation Fee (BPIH).
Head of the Hajj and Umrah (PHU) Section of the Banyumas Regency Ministry of Religion Purwanto Hendro Puspito in Purwokerto, Banyumas, Thursday, said that his party is still monitoring 148 Hajj candidates who have not yet confirmed the payment of the BPIH because Friday, May 5, is the deadline for payment.
"Whether these 148 people do not pay off or do not know the deadline for payment. We are monitoring this because if they do not carry out confirmation, they will be considered to have postponed or resigned," he said.
He said that if the prospective hajj postpones departure or resigns, it will be replaced by other candidates who have been included in the reserve list.
He said the number of Hajj candidates from Banyumas who were entitled to pay off BPIH in 2023 was 1,272 people, but 1,169 people were in a safe position, while the remaining 103 people were on the reserve list.
Of the 103 people who were on the reserve list, he said, 83 of them had confirmed the payment of BPIH.
Overall, he continued, prospective pilgrims who have carried out confirmation of the payment of 1,049 people.
"Later, if there is a possibility of 'open seat', yes, later (which is included in the reserve list, ed.) can go up. Yesterday, 54 people said they had postponed their departure and one person was canceled," he said.
In this regard, he admitted, he had coordinated with the Hajj guidance group (KBIH) to remind pilgrims who had not yet confirmed the payment of BPIH to immediately implement it because on Friday 5 May the deadline for payment.

His party is currently also preparing for the district level of manasik guidance which is scheduled at the Banyumas IPHI Building on 8-9 May 2023. Furthermore, on 10-21 May 2023 it will be continued with the guidance of the sub-district level which is spread across 18 points.
"Meanwhile, the administration of the meningitis vaccine for prospective hajj pilgrims has started to run at the puskesmas-puskesmas. Likewise, passports and other equipment documents have started to run," he said.
He said that of the 1,169 Hajj candidates with complete files and had been deposited with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Central Java Province for the printing of visa bar codes, only 560 people.
The rest, he said, would soon follow because it was still in the process while completing biovisa that failed the system or could not be recorded on the application.
"If the system fails later, you will use a certificate that cannot be scanned from the application. It is issued by a regional hospital, in this case it can be Prof. Dr Margono Soekarjo Hospital Purwokerto, Banyumas Hospital, and Ajibarang Hospital, who speak English or Arabic," he said.
The Al-Wardah Hajj and Umrah Worship Guidance Group (KBIHU) Banyumas Regency held the release of 316 Hajj candidates in 2023 at the Al-Wardah KBIHU Building, Thursday.
The head of the organizers, Siti Nasriyah, said KBIHU Alwardah had carried out Hajj guidance for one year and continued istighatsah every Saturday during Ramadan.
"Hopefully the material that has been received by the congregation can be a provision in the implementation of the entire series of Hajj and Umrah in the Holy Land of Mecca," he said.
One of the representatives of the congregation, Mufti Ali, expressed his gratitude for the guidance provided by KBIHU Al-Wardah.
"On behalf of the congregation, I would like to express my gratitude and ask for the blessing of the extended family of KBIHU Al-Wardah," he said.
One of the congregational assistants from KBIHU Al-Wardah, Naufi Varchah, said that of the 316 hajj candidates that will be dispatched by KBIHU Al-Wardah, there are the youngest hajj candidates on behalf of Amalia Khoirunisa bint Akhmad Mustofa (19) from Gununglurah Village, Cilongok District, while the oldest Hajj candidates are on behalf of Hadi Mutawali bin Akhmad Intention (92) from Kalisogra Village, Kalibagor District.
