Sales Of Instant Noodles Reaches IDR 14.01 Trillion, Indofood CBP Profit Skyrockets 103.73 Percent
JAKARTA - PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) noted that profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity rose 103.73 percent in the first quarter of 2023.
The amount in the first quarter of 2023 is IDR 3.94 trillion. The increase was compared to the same period in 2022 which amounted to IDR 1.94 trillion.
If detailed, net sales will increase to IDR 19.14 trillion from IDR 17.19 trillion in the first quarter of 2022.
The largest fixed sales from instant noodles reached IDR 14.01 trillion. This amount increased compared to the first quarter of 2022 which amounted to IDR 12.25 trillion.
Meanwhile, sales of other segments in the first quarter of 2023, namely Dairy reached Rp2.69 trillion, snacks Rp1.13 trillion, food suppliers Rp1.26 trillion, nutrition and special foods Rp317 billion, and drinks Rp394 billion.
Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold in the first quarter of 2023 reached IDR 12.18 trillion. This resulted in a gross profit of IDR 6.96 trillion.

Selling and distribution expenses increased to Rp2.04 trillion and general and administrative expenses rose to Rp615 billion. Meanwhile, other operating income and other operating expenses were recorded at Rp174.73 billion and Rp486.97 billion, respectively.
The company's operating profit in the first quarter of 2023 was IDR 3.99 trillion and the profit for the current period was IDR 4.33 trillion. Profit per share attributable to owners of the parent entity rose to IDR 339 per share from IDR 166 per share in the first quarter of 2022.
If you look at the financial position, ICBP assets reached IDR 118.71 trillion. Meanwhile, liabilities and equity amounted to IDR 57.55 trillion and IDR 61.16 trillion, respectively.
