According to Syafrudin, TMII carries four pillars in its management as a tourist area.
The first pillar is inclusive or open, namely TMII becomes a tourist area for all people.
"So we do not limit the class of people who will visit TMII. Please visit Taman Mini with cheap entrance tickets, Rp. 25 thousand. We also do not distribute the ticket class, both for domestic and foreign tourists at the same price," he said.
The second pillar, said Syafrudin, is green or green, namely 70 percent of the TMII area is environmentally friendly green areas. He said not all fossil fuel vehicles could enter TMII.
"So here the concept is electric vehicles. So if children want to ride bicycles or parents want to take a shuttle, electricity is also provided inside," he said.
The third pillar is smart or smart, where for example, all payment transactions at TMII have used non-cash transactions.
"So at TMII we provide all payment transactions using a cashless payment system to make transactions easier for people," he explained.
The fourth pillar is local culture or local culture, where TMII carries a mission to preserve Indonesian culture.
"The practices we provide at TMII are Indonesian cultural attractions. So if people visit TMII, regularly (every) at 15.00 WIB we (show) cultural attractions. There is dance from Papua, Sumatra, Kalimantan, we show everything," he said.
Finally, Syafrudin said that TMII during the 9 Eid al-Fitr holiday held the TMII Eid Week from April 21 to 30, 2023.
According to him, this Lebaran Week has attracted up to 35 thousand visitors per day, not only from Jabodetabek but also from all over Indonesia.
"So this is a place that we think is a new favorite place for people to have a picnic. So this Eid week we welcome people who come with their families, with children, to enjoy the cultural city park," he explained.
As is known, TMII now has a new look after a massive revitalization from January to October 2022.
