Bamsoet Opens Tuksedo Studio Exhibition For Exhibition 2023 At Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport
BALI - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly as well as Chairman of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) together with the Founder of Tuksedo Studio Puji Handoko, Co-Founder of Tuksedo Studio Admiral Gusti Handoko, and Chairman of IMI Bali Ajik Krisna, opened Tuksedo Studio Exhibit 2023 at Domestic Arrival Terminal, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
This exhibition was held in collaboration with Tuksedo Studio with PT Angkasa Pura I, supported by Central IMI, IMI Bali and various other related parties, to show something by the nation's children who are not 'cans', namely a classic sports car that is very iconic with its current price being unreasonable, reaching millions of dollars or hundreds of billions of rupiah. The original car exhibition made in Indonesia is also meant as well as welcoming Bali tourism ahead of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Through Tuksedo Studio Exhibit 2023, tourists who come on vacation to Bali in the context of the Ramadan and Eid holidays, when they step foot at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, can directly witness the greatness of the work of the nation's children who have succeeded in making legendary classic vehicles handmade. In addition to legendary classic vehicles, Tuksedo Studio is also trusted by Dorna Sport and Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) to make the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP Champions trophy, World Superbike Mandalika 2021 and 2022, World Supersport Mandalika 2021 and 2022, as well as the 2021 and 2022 Asia Talent Cup Mandalika. 2021 and 2022.
"Some of the legendary iconic classic vehicles whose original prices do not make sense reaching millions of dollars or hundreds of billions of rupiah, have now made Tuksedo Studio Bali, including Porsche 356 Speedster (1957), Porsche 356 A Coupe (1955-1959), Porsche 550 Spyder (1953-1956), Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gulwing (1954 1957), Toyota 2000 GT 1968 (1967-1970), Jaguar XK 120 (1948-1954), Ferrari 250 GTO (1962-1964), to Maserati 450S (1956-1958). In addition to the results of the vehicles that have been produced, through this exhibition tourists can also witness the process of making vehicles from scratch. From design to design building and frame patterns using wood," said Bamsoet after opening the Tuksedo Studio Exhibit 2023 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, Wednesday night, April 19.
Furthermore, Bamsoet explained, Tuksedo Studio has also successfully completed road tests on various legendary classic cars it produces. Among other things, involving Porsche 550 Spyers, Porsche 356 Coupe, and Porsche 356 Speedster. The first phase of road tests covered the route from the Tuksedo Studio workshop in the Gianyar area to the Denpasar area and explored various areas in Bali.
"At Tuksedo Studio, road tests are carried out not only once. Trials and quality control are carried out continuously and evaluations of various things that need to be perfected until the car is really ready for customer satisfaction and maximum performance on the highway. Bamsoet also explained that the existence of Tuksedo Studio was not only supported by IMI. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno also provided similar support when he visited Tuksedo Studio in September 2021.
"IMI together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy agreed to continue to work together to make the automotive modification industry, both in the form of restoration and production as carried out by Tuksedo Studio, as part of strengthening the backbone of the national economy. Therefore, IMI supports the steps taken by Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno to include the automotive modification sector in government regulations that are being drafted as derivatives of Law No. 24/2019 on Creative Economy. So that the automotive modification industry has a legal umbrella," concluded Bamsoet.
