Google Ready To Present Generative Artificial Intelligence To Its Advertising Business
JAKARTA - Google will introduce generative artificial intelligence into its advertising business in the coming months to create a "new" ad, the Financial Times report said on Thursday, April 20, citing an internal presentation.
Generative artificial intelligence is a type of technology that relies on past data to create content rather than identify existing content.
Last month, Google began its public chatbot launch called Bard, seeking users and feedback to pursue Microsoft Corp in a race to lead the AI technology market.

Per presentation, advertisers can provide "creative" content such as images, videos, and text related to certain advertising campaigns, and AI will then mix this material to generate ads based on audience targets, as well as sales targets, the report said.
While there are concerns about the broader impact of AI on issues such as disinformation, phishing efforts, and cybercrimes, Google plans to install a guardrail to address them when launching a new generative AI feature, reports FT.Google did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
