2021: The Historical Milestone Of Global Electric Vehicle Transition
JAKARTA - In recent years, car manufacturers have developed electric cars seriously. The move follows the popular NZE (net zero emissions) program after the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, which aims to suppress environmental pollution that has the potential to result in global warming.
Energy is one of the sectors focused on achieving the NZE program. Various countries have issued new regulations in terms of providing electrical energy that are tailored to the NZE program, including in Indonesia.
In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has also sparked increased global awareness and interest in the use of healthier transportation and accelerated the shift to environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
The year 2021 will be an important year for the automotive industry as many major automakers around the world announce plans to accelerate the transition to a fully electric future by developing new product lines and changing existing production capacities.
