Leaders' Cellphones And Employees Hacked, KPK Coordinates With The Ministry Of Communication And Information
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that cellphones belonging to one of the leaders and employees were hacked by irresponsible people. The hack took place today, Monday, April 10."What is currently happening, since April 10, 2023, the morning cellphone of one of the KPK leaders and employees is being hacked," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in a written statement, Tuesday, April 11.Ali did not specify from the five leaders, who was hacked by his cellphone. Likewise with the names of employees who experienced the same thing.However, Ali said the hack is currently being handled. The KPK IT team is currently moving to resolve the issue."This problem is still being handled by IT KPK for recovery. The KPK is also coordinating it with the Ministry of Communication and Information," said Ali.The anti-corruption commission is now asking the public to be careful when contacted by parties claiming to be employees or leaders. Ali said, don't let anyone get trapped.
"We warn the public to continue to be careful if there are modes that violate the law on behalf of the leadership or KPK employees," he concluded.
