Bodies Of Victims Of KKB Shooting Evacuated To Timika And Tomorrow Flown To Jakarta
JAYAPURA - The body of Sertu Robertus Simbolon, a member of the 305/TKR PR Infantry Battalion Task Force who was the victim of the KKB shooting in Titigi Village, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua, Monday, was evacuated to Timika.
Danrem 173/PVB Brigadier General Sri Widodo said that the evacuation of the bodies of members of the 305/TKR PR Infantry Battalion Task Force to Timika used Smart Aviation aircraft with flight code PK-SNP.
On Tuesday, he continued, the bodies will be flown to Jakarta. Next, using the road to Mako Yonif PR 305/TKR, Karawang Regency, West Java. After that, the bodies were flown to Medan for burial in his village.
"Currently, the body is buried in Makodim 1704/Mimika in Timika," said TNI Brigadier General Sri Widodo as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 10.
The victim was shot on Sunday afternoon in the stomach and hands. Sertu Robertus Simbolon died upon arrival at the Sugapa Health Center.
When asked which group KKB, Danrem Biak, whose territory includes Papua and Central Papua Provinces, said that they were Joni Botak's men.
"The perpetrators are indeed Joni Botak's subordinates who are currently reported to have left Intan Jaya Regency," said Danrem 173/PVB Brigadier General Sri Widodo.
