The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Calls Again The Director General Of Mineral And Coal Who Is Absent From Examination
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Director General of Mineral and Coal, Idris Froyoto Sihite, today, Monday, April 3. Summons related to allegations of corruption in cutting performance allowances at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
"The examination took place at the KPK's Red and White Building," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, April 3.
Ali said Idris confirmed to fulfill the investigator's summons. This is the second call to Idris after being absent on Thursday, March 30 yesterday.
"We have not checked whether the person concerned is present on the second floor or not. But there is information that he will be present today," he said.
Previously reported, the Director of Investigation of the KPK Asep Guntur stated that Idris would be questioned because investigators found the key to Pakubuwono Apartment, Menteng when searching his office.
In the apartment unit, the anti-corruption commission found Rp1.3 billion. Thus, investigators feel the need to do an in-depth investigation.

For information, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources which ensnared 10 people. It is suspected that the allowance money was cut and entered into a private pocket.
The amount of money deducted has not been given in detail by the KPK. However, it is suspected that tens of billions of money were enjoyed by the perpetrators, including for operational costs to support the examination process of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
In investigating this allegation, investigators from the anti-corruption commission have conducted a search. This enforcement activity continues to be carried out, including at the Office of the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Jalan Merdeka Selatan, to Pakubuwono Apartment, Menteng.
