AI Spirituality Becomes Trend In India, Bhagavad Gita Becomes Inspiration For GitaGPT Chatbot

JAKARTA - A number of artificial intelligence (AI) developers have integrated Bhagavad Gita into their AI chatbots. Along with the emergence of a ChatGPT that is well-known for the content it can generate, some developers and technology startups have started jumping into the bandwagon owned by the AI generator.

According to Bloomberg, more and more major and small technology startups are trying to outperform OpenAI in AI services. While OpenAI's ChatGPT is currently working to switch from GPT-3 to GPT-4, most of the other AI generators still use GPT-3.

One of the AI bots supported by GPT-3 that provides solutions for users for some questions related to human life and existence, is GitaGPT. The GitaGPT was developed by Sukuru Sai Vineet, a software engineer with the Google India division.

App users can ask and ask AI chatbots for advice by studying Bhagavad Gita. Users can ask for advice in various daily situations. For example, if someone asks for help in overcoming separations, chatbot AI will analyze the content of the Bible and provide the most relevant verses, but with more general and easier to understand languages. However, like all GPT-3 models, the response of the AI chatbot may be somewhat vague.

What's interesting is that GitaGPT isn't the only AI generator bot trained with the Hindu holy book. There are several other AI applications that promise to help users understand Bhagavad Gita's lessons. For example, there is the Gita-Kishans GPT, where bots take on the role of Dewa Krishna in answering questions. Then, there is also bhagavadgita.ai, another service that allows users to "cheat on Krishna" to help overcome the difficulties that users may face, which in this case takes on the role of Arjuna.

The presence of AI chatbots that use Bhagavad Gita provides an alternative for people who want to find answers and understandings about our life and existence in different ways. However, users must still understand that the response from the AI chatbot is just a suggestion and view, and it is not a decision that must be followed.
