Fostan Invites Fans To Accept Wounds And Darkness In All Release

JAKARTA - The indie-pop quartet from Jakarta Fostan released a single titled Release All by continuing to carry an alternative rock style of the 90s under the flag of the demajors record label.

After all, it was written by Fostan guitarist Raja Kautsar with vocalist Zahra Adys, about the bitter taste of nostalgia and wisdom of life lessons after the failure of the relationship.

"This angle is actually an invitation to receive the wounds and darkness we have, so that we don't become afraid in living life," Raja explained Fostan's new song, quoted from Antara, Monday.

The single recording process was carried out at Leap Studio Jakarta, involving Agusalim Luckman who worked together for Fostan's first full album.

Fostan bass player Tommy Ramadhan said they are currently working on the album and have some material to put on the album.

"We are focusing on production to complete the album. Already six have been recorded, a total of nine songs will be available. They are queuing for the mixing process as well," said Tommy.

The music video for the single Release Everything was carried out independently by Badrus Zeman, who is also known as the frontman of the Madura rock music group, Lorjhu. The video started airing on the YouTube platform, while single Release All available on all digital music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Joox, Resso, YouTube Music and Deezer.

Membering Zahra Adys (vocals), Raja Kautsar (guitar), Tommy Ramadhan (bass), and Ammar (drums), Fostan was found through the Jameson Connects Indonesia event.
