8 COVID-19 Patients Left In Babylon

The Bangka Belitung Islands Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that there were eight active COVID-19 patients who were still undergoing self-quarantine on Sunday, March 26, or decreased compared to the previous day as many as 11 patients.

"We continue to try to suppress the transmission of this corona virus, especially during this year's homecoming and Eid al-Fitr," said Secretary of the Babel Islands Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force Mikron Antariksa quoted from Antara, Sunday.

He stated that there were three COVID-19 patients who were still undergoing quarantine in Central Bangka Regency, two people from Pangkalpinang, South Bangka, West Bangka and Belitung each with one patient.

Meanwhile for Bangka and East Belitung without COVID-19 patients.

"Today, the number of people exposed to the corona virus has increased by two, the number of recovered patients has increased by five and the number of patients died due to COVID-19," he said.

According to him, in preventing the transmission and spread of the corona virus, the COVID-19 Task Force together with local governments continue to socialize prokes to the public so that they are vigilant by continuing to prevent them independently.

"During this year's fasting month and Eid, we continue to optimize services to COVID-19 patients in order to increase recovery rates to realize Babel's COVID-19 green zone," he said.

Head of the Surveillance and Immunization Section of the Babel Islands Health Office, Rais Haru, said the first and second booster vaccination services at the community health service center.

"Socialization and vaccination services in hospitals, health centers and clinics continue to be intensified, as an important effort to increase antibody titers and extend people's body protection from this virus," he said.
