KPK Hands Over Rijatono Lakka Case Files In The Lukas Enembe Corruption Case
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has delegated the inactive Papua Governor's briber suspect Lukas Enembe, Rijatono Lakka (RL), to the Central Jakarta Corruption Court (PN) for immediate trial."Today, the KPK prosecutor team handed over the Rijatono Lakka case file to the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, March 24.Ali said that currently the prosecutor's team is still waiting for the determination of the detention and the day of its inaugural trial with the agenda of reading the indictment.The KPK prosecutor charged the person concerned with giving bribes to the suspect LE as the Governor of Papua of around Rp. 35.4 billion.It is suspected that the money was given so that the companies used by the defendants were won in the procurement project for goods and services within the Papuan provincial government.Ali then added that with the delegation, the detention of the defendant RL has now been transferred to the detention of the Panel of Judges at the Corruption Court in Central Jakarta.Until now, the KPK has only named two suspects in the series of cases of Lukas Enembe, namely Lukas Enembe and the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua (TBP) Rijatono Lakka as LE bribers.Tersangka Rijatono Lakka diduga menyerahkan uang kepada Lukas Enembe sekitar Rp1 miliar setelah terpilih mengerjakan tiga proyek infrastruktur di Pemprov Papua dengan skema pembiayaan tahun jamak, yakni proyek peningkatan Jalan Entrop-Hamadi dengan nilai proyek Rp14,8 miliar, proyek rehabilitasi sarana dan prasarasung PAUD Integration dengan nilai proyek Rp13,3 miliar, serta proyek penataran lingkungan arena membak luar ruang ruangan AURI dengan nilai proyek Rp12,9 miliar.Lukas Enembe is currently being extended to April 12, 2023 at the KPK Detention Center based on the stipulation by the Chairman of the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court. The extension of the detention period is in order to collect evidence to complete the investigation case file.
