Man In Banda Perkorsa Housewife To Death, Maluku Police Chief Forms Joint Team To Arrest Perpetrators
AMBON - Maluku Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) Inspector General Lotharia Latif formed a joint team to help the Banda Police arrest one suspect in the rape that caused the victim to die.
The suspect who is on the wanted list (DPO) is named M Rumagia alias Amat. The 30-year-old man is suspected of raping NI, a housewife to death at the Banda Hospital.
"We have formed a joint team from the Maluku Regional Police to help the Banda Police pursue a rape suspect that caused the victim to die," said the Kapolda, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 24.
The sexual violence occurred at the victim's house in Banda Neira on Monday afternoon. The victim, who suffered a severe bleeding on his vital organs, died at night at 23.00 WIT.
The Kapolda hopes that the suspect can be immediately arrested and severely punished according to the actions he has committed.
"If the suspect is arrested, I have ordered investigators to charge him with multiple articles," he said.
According to him, the perpetrators should be punished severely because their actions were very sadistic because they had an impact on calm, order and peace in Banda Neira.
