Angkasa Pura I Optimistic To Serve 3.38 Million Passengers In The 2023 Eid Homecoming Period
JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura I is ready to serve passenger and flight traffic during the 2023 Eid homecoming period. During this year's homecoming period, AP I is optimistic that it will serve 3.38 million passengers.
The main director of PT Angkasa Pura or AP I, Faik Fahmi said that AP I predicts the peak of homecoming traffic will occur on April 18 2023 and the return flow will occur on April 26.
"We are optimistic that during the 2023 Eid transportation period, it will serve around 3.38 million passengers, an increase of around 36 percent," he said in a Forwahub discussion at the Ministry of Transportation, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 21.
Meanwhile, continued Faik, flight traffic is projected to reach 27,510 flights or an increase of around 28 percent compared to last year.
Faik added, during the Eid 2023 transportation period, three AP I airports namely I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar, and Sam Ratulangi Manado will operate 24 hours.

Even so, Faik ensured that the 15 airports under the management of AP I would be on standby operation for 24 hours based on the request of the flight operator.
Furthermore, Faik said, to ensure passenger service during the homecoming period, AP I will also open an Idul Fitri 2023 Air Transport Post.
"The plan is to open the Command Post from 15 to 30 April 2023 for 16 days," said Faik.
