Menpora Welcomes The Antimafia Ball Task Force Team Volume III, Wants To Eradicate Scoring Practices

JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali received the Antimafia Ball Task Force Team at the Kemenpora office, Monday, February 10 afternoon. The team chaired by Karo Provos Polri, Brigadier General Hendro Pandowo, reported to the Menpora about the existence of the Task Force Team Volume III, as a continuation of the Task Force Team Volume I and II.

According to a written statement received by the editorial desk, the assignment of the Task Force Team was an order of the National Police Chief, General Idham Aziz, to extend his tenure as Team Leader of the Task Force Volume III. This Task Force team was on duty from early February 2020 to the end of August 2020.

Zainudin Amali warmly welcomed the extension of this Task Force Team. You see, when he finished delivering his presentation at the TNI Polri Leadership Meeting last week regarding the preparation for the 2020 PON in Papua, the Menpora expressed his hope to the National Police Chief about the need for an extension of the Task Force Team.

"We are grateful to the Chief of Police for extending the term of office of the Anti-Football Mafia Task Force," said the Menpora accompanied by Sesmenpora Gatot S Dewa Broto and Special Sports Staff M. Nigara.

The Menpora have high hopes that the Task Force Team can continue its task of eradicating the practice of fixing scores that are allegedly carried out in a number of soccer matches in Indonesia.

It didn't stop there. The Menpora also committed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports would continue to help coordinate with the Task Force Team for the purpose of improving Indonesian football from the potential for possible scoring.

On the other hand, the Head of the Task Force Team also reported that there were still a number of unresolved and unresolved cases.
