Shin Tae-yong's Decision To Make A Big Question Mark

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, has called out the names of the players who will appear on FIFA Match Day against Burundi, 25 and 28 March.

The names of the subscriptions are back on the squad list. Asnawi Mangkualam, Pratama Arhan, Saddil Ramdani, Egy Maulana Vikri, Witan Sulaeman and several old faces were also summoned.

In addition, there are also names of naturalized players, including Marc Klok, Jordi Amat, and Shayne Pattynama. For Shayne, it is his debut to defend the Garuda Squad after it was officially naturalized.

However, several questions arose regarding a number of names that Shin called. Some think that some of his performance players are less convincing in Liga 1.

One of them is Witan Sulaeman. Since being brought by Persija Jakarta, the former FK Senica player has failed to make a significant contribution.

Witan has not scored goals and assists for the Kemayoran Tigers. In fact, the performance of Borneo FC player Stefano Lilipaly is considered better than Witan.

The summons of Nadeo Agrawinata is also a concern. The reason is, the Bali United goalkeeper recently conceded many goals.

Interestingly, Shin summoned Syahrul Trisna (Persikabo 1973) and Daffa Fasya (The Indonesian U-20 National Team) as coatings.

In fact, PSM Makassar goalkeeper, Reza Arya Pratama, is in a brilliant performance. In the last five matches, four of them were successfully ended with a cleansheet.

However, some names are deemed worthy to decorate the Indonesian national team squad. Riko Simanjuntak and Yance Sayuri deserve to be called if they see their performance at Persija and PSM.

The following is a list of names of players called by the Indonesian national team for FIFA Match Day against Burundi:
