Requirements For Motorcycles That Can Be Subsidy For Conversion To Electricity, Moge Don't Join The Queue!

JAKARTA - The government will issue regulations for the provision of assistance for the purchase of Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicles (KBLBB) starting March 20.

Later, the provision of this assistance will be distributed through two ministries, for new motorbikes to be distributed through the Ministry of Industry and Motorcycles converted will be provided through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Rida Mulyana, revealed several conditions and motorcycles that could receive this assistance.

For motorbikes, Rida explained, only vehicles that still deserve roads can participate in this electric motorcycle conversion program.

"If it's a strike, don't. It's dead and then turn it on again through conversion, of course not," he said at a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment Building, Monday, March 6.

Rida added, related to the volume of vehicle fuel, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has set only motorbikes that have a capacity of 110-150 cubic entities (CC).

"Moge does not include that," said Rida.

Rida also emphasized that only motorbikes that have complete documents can take part in this program, especially motorbikes with ID cards and STNKs with the same name listed.

"The point is a legal motorbike. The STNK and KTP ask for the same understanding so that it is not misused," said Rida.

He further added that this program is prioritized only for 1 motorbike per person and does not apply to the second motorbike so that this program can be accepted by the entire community.

"If there are two motorbikes, the right to receive assistance is only 1 so that the others get it," concluded Rida.
