DPR Asks BPN To Disburse Land Legality Data At Plumpang Depot
JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR RI Andi Rio encouraged the National Police and the National Land Agency (BPN) to investigate the legality of the land around the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, North Jakarta, which is crowded with residents' houses.
According to Andi, launching the National Police and BPN, it is necessary to investigate whether the land is in accordance with its designation procedures or if there is a forgery of the sale and purchase of land in the area.
"The sterile zone around Pertamina Depot should be within a radius of a few meters, but why is there a resident's house around the depot? Of course, this is a big question mark," Andi said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, March 5.
The Deputy Chairman of the Honorary Council of the House of Representatives (MKD) also encouraged Pertamina to ensure the availability of fuel oil (BBM) stocks after the explosion at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot. Thus, he continued, the scarcity of fuel in the community could be avoided.
"Make sure the fuel stock is safe and Pertamina must be able to see the post-epoch impact on the surrounding environment, whether there are still harmful substances and affect the health of local residents," he said.
Andi also expressed his condolences for the fire incident at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot and the victims and victims of the Pertamina depot explosion. He then asked the police to conduct a thorough investigation regarding the cause of the incident.
