Praka Jumardi, TNI Task Force Member, Was Shot Dead By KKB During Body Evacuation
JAYAPURA - Member of Yonif Raider Task Force 303/SSM Praka Jumardi died from a gunshot wound when he and members of Yonif Raider 303/SSM Task Force were confronted and had gunfire with the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Sinak, Yugumuak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua Province.
Kapendam XVII Cenderawasih Col Kav Herman Taryaman said members of the Yonif Raider 303/SSM Task Force at that time were evacuating a body that was also shot, to be taken to the Sinak Health Center.
"During the exchange of fire, a member of the Yonif Raider 303/SSM Task Force, Praka Jumardi, was shot and died," said Herman, reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 3.

He explained based on the report he received that Praka Jumardi was shot while evacuating the body of Tarina Murib, who was also shot dead by the KKB in Pamebut Village, Yugumuak District, Puncak Regency.
On the way to the Sinak Health Center, he said, the evacuation team was ambushed and shot by the KKB, killing Praka Jumardi.
"The victim was rushed to the Sinak Health Center, but was declared dead by the medical team," said Herman.
