Tourists from Norway Died in an Accident in Mandalika
PRAYA - A foreign woman from Norway, Lina Asora Storhaug Rognerud (25) died after having a single accident in the Mandalika area on Jalan Raya Kuta, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.
"The victim's passport number: 32039426. The temporary address is Pipes Hostel Dusun Mong II, Kuta Village", said the Head of the Mandalika Regional Police, AKP I Made Dimas Widyantara, in Praya, reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 3.
According to the chronology of what happened, the victim left the Pipes Hostel to find food. Then, after eating the victim, she and her two colleagues left for Tanjung Aan Beach by riding a black Honda Vario DR 2196 TL motorcycle.
"Meanwhile, two of the victim's colleagues used a motorbike and when they arrived at the crime scene (TKP), Jalan Raya Kuta, the victim fell", he said.
As a result of the accident, the victim suffered bruises from the left eye to cheek, bruises on the left neck, abrasions on the upper right waist down to the abdomen, abrasions on the right knee, abrasions on the left thigh, abrasions on the left calf and chest blue.
"As a result of the accident the victim died after being given medical assistance", he said.

Obtaining information about the incident, members of the Mandalika Regional Police immediately investigated the TKP and asked for statements from witnesses who saw the incident and secured the victim's vehicle and belongings.
His party also secured the victim's belongings, namely a white cloth bag containing a wallet, vehicle driver's license, ATM, IDR 10,000 in cash, cell phone, underwear, scarves, hats, cosmetics and glasses.
"Currently the victim's body has been taken to Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital", he said.
