DKI Jakarta PSBB Governor Regulation, COVID-19 Positive Patients Who Are Not Isolated Will Be Forcibly Picked Up
JAKARTA - Efforts to suppress the COVID-19 case continue to be carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. One of them is to organize forced efforts for those who test positive for COVID-19 but do not carry out isolation according to applicable regulations.
This policy is contained in the Regulation of the Governor of DKI Jakarta which was signed by Anies Baswedan on January 7.
"Every person confirmed positive for COVID-19 who does not carry out isolation in accordance with the provisions is subject to forced efforts to be placed in an isolation location determined by the provincial level COVID-19 Handling Task Force," said Article 9 paragraph 1 of DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation Number 3 of 2021.
As for this forced effort, Satpol PP included health workers and could be accompanied by the police and / or the TNI.
Meanwhile, in Article 10 paragraph 1 every implementation of sanctions or forced attempts, Satpol PP must record COVID-19 patients. It was stated that they were obliged to record their names, addresses and residence identification numbers. Furthermore, this data will be entered into an application made by the DKI Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office.
If the system is not yet available, then Satpol PP can continue to collect data on violators manually.
Previously reported, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will again tighten Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in line with directions from the central government regarding the imposition of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in the Java and Bali Islands. This PSBB tightening will be carried out starting 11 January.
"(Limitation of activities, red) is in the January 11-25 period and this can be extended," said Anies during his online presentation, Saturday, January 9.
This decision was taken by Anies to reduce the rate of increasing active cases and transmission of COVID-19 in Jakarta. Moreover, according to Anies, active cases of COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta have reached 17,833 and is the highest figure for the past nine months.
So seeing the conditions above, he felt the need to tighten again. The activities that will be limited in the restructuring of the PSBB range from the number of people working in offices, operating hours of shopping centers and restaurants to limiting the capacity and operating hours of public vehicles.
He explained, for a workplace or office as many as 75 percent of employees have to work at home. Meanwhile, distance learning activities are still being carried out.
"The essential sectors run 100 percent, then shopping centers only until 19.00 WIB. Activities of restaurants and other restaurants have a capacity of 25 percent and operate until 19.00 WIB," he explained.
Although restaurants and restaurants can only serve guests until 19.00 WIB, they are still allowed to serve orders to take home or take away according to operating hours.
Furthermore, for places of worship there is also a capacity limitation of up to 50 percent.
"Public facilities and socio-cultural activities are temporarily suspended, closed. Then, the transportation will run with a capacity limitation of 50 percent and operating hours for public transportation until 20.00 WIB," he said.
"The details can be seen in the Governor Regulation and the Governor's Decree which we immediately distribute as well as the infographics conveyed via social media," added the former Minister of Education and Culture.
