"PGN and its group of companies and affiliates have never and currently have no endorsement cooperation with public figures mentioned in the news," said PGN Corporate Secretary Rachmat Hutama in a statement quoted on Thursday, January 7.

"This public figure also has no affiliation with the Company's Board of Commissioners and Directors," added Rachmat.

Previously, Kaesang also often recommended PT Aneka Tambang's shares on his personal Twitter account, @kaesangp. In equal measure with PGN, Antam through its SVP Corporate Secretary Kunto Hendrapawoko denied that the company endorsed Kaesang to promote Antam's shares.

"It can be said that Antam has not endorsed anyone for the promotion of the company's shares. We really appreciate the positive public response to Antam's shares in line with the improving outlook for the economy and the stock exchange in early 2021," he said, when contacted by VOI, in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 5th.
