Head Of BNPT Responds To Issue Of Joining PPP
JAKARTA- Head of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) Komjen Boy Rafli Amar responded to the rumor that he would join the United Development Party (PPP).
Boy emphasized that until now he was still an active member of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) so he could not comment further regarding the issue of joining a political party.
"I'm not retired yet. I'm still not in a practical political position. Not yet retired," said the Head of BNPT Komjen Pol. Boy Rafli Amar as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 20.
The head of the BNPT stated this when answering the issue surrounding his joining a party bearing the Ka'bah logo after retiring as an active member of the National Police.
Boy is a graduate of the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1988 and will retire in the near future.
Previously, at the peak of the PPP's 50th Birthday (Harlah) event, the Acting Chairperson (Plt.) of PPP Chairman Muhammad Mardiono had mentioned the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) before President Joko Widodo.
