When Vice President Ma'ruf Amin And His Wife Tested The Comfort Of Paspampres Car During A Visit To Banten
JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin tried to ride in a car escorted by the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) during his activities to visit Guler Farm Nature and exercise in Banten.
Initially, Ma'ruf started his activities at the An Nawawi Tanara (Penata) Islamic Boarding School, Banten, by observing Guler Farm Nature while doing light exercises in cloudy and slightly drizzling weather.
After the inspection, Ma'ruf accompanied by his wife, Wury Ma'ruf Amin, continued on a trip to inspect the vineyards around the Islamic boarding school to see how far it had grown.
Accompanied by the attached staff, Ma'ruf, and his wife picked ripe grapes while chatting warmly.
The service aide of the Vice President, Marine Colonel Taufik, said that when he returned from Guler Farm Nature to the An Nawawi Tanara (Penata) Islamic Boarding School, which was about 5 km away, the Vice President had asked Taufik about the comfort of the Paspampres car.
"That's an escort car, isn't it comfortable when used long distance?" asked Ma'ruf as told by Colonel Taufik, quoted from Antara, Friday, February 17.
Colonel Taufik replied, "Safe, Sir".
Hearing Ma'ruf's enthusiasm, Colonel Taufik then asked the Vice President's willingness to try to ride in the escort car.
After obtaining Ma'ruf's approval, Colonel Taufik immediately coordinated with the Commander of Group B Paspampres to prepare escort vehicles for Ma'ruf to try.
After being prepared, Ma'ruf and his wife then tried an escort car by traveling around 1 km.
