Innalillahi Grief News Comes From Jepara, Health Care Unit Died Due To COVID-19 Increases

JAKARTA - The sad news came from Jepara Regency, Central Java. The number of health workers who died while trying to fight the corona virus disease (COVID-19) continues to grow. This was after a nurse at the Mlonggo Health Center died from being exposed to COVID-19.

"We share our condolences for the death of the deceased while on duty in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic," said Jepara Regional Government Secretary Edy Sujatmiko while leading the release of the body of Puskesmas nurse Mlonggo Hidayatussolihah who is also the wife of the Chief Executive of BPBD Jepara Kusmiyanto in Jepara, reported by Antara, Wednesday, January 6th.

The ceremony to release the body of COVID-19 was held at the yard of the RA Kartini Jepara Regional General Hospital (RSUD) to be buried in a public cemetery in Srobyong Village, Mlonggo District.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Mlonggo Health Center Eko Cahyo Puspeno admitted that he was deeply lost by the death of the deceased who had died in carrying out his professional duties serving the community.

"The deceased was one of the best nurses we had and was always at the forefront of fighting the spread of COVID-19," he said.

Before he died, the deceased had been treated at RSI Sultan Hadirin since December 31, 2020. Then he underwent treatment in the isolation room of RSUD RA Kartini Jepara since January 5, 2021.

However, because his condition continued to worsen until finally on January 6, 2021 at 04.00 WIB he died.

The death of the deceased adds to the long line of medical personnel who died from COVID-19 to six. In June 2020, a senior health worker at RA Kartini Siti Fatimah Hospital passed away.

Then a senior nurse named Yadi Siswanto (54) who served at the Bangsri Health Center also died from exposure to COVID-19.

Another health worker who has died in his fight against COVID-19, namely Agus Ariyanto from RSUD RA Kartini Jepara. Meanwhile, for the medical profession, two people have died, including Yoyok Setiyono and Anie Roviana.
