Tio Pakusadewo's Prison For 2 Years Of Prison For Drugs
JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) has demanded a two-year prison sentence against the actor Tio Pakusadewo in connection with the marijuana drug abuse case.
Head of the South Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office of Intelligence, Odit Megonondo, said that the prosecution for Tio Pasukadewo was read out by Prosecutor Priatmaji Dutaning Prawiro in a hearing held by teleconference.
"The prosecutor has read out the criminal charges against the defendant Irwan Susetyo alias Tio Pakusadewo bin Setyonoharjo with a sentence of two years imprisonment under Article 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics," said Odit quoted from Antara, Wednesday, January 6.
Odit explained that Tio Pakusadewo had been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a crime of narcotics abuse, and was charged with imprisonment, not rehabilitation.
Tio Pakusadewo was charged by the Prosecutor of violating Article 114 paragraph (1) subsidair Article 111 paragraph (1) more than Article 127 paragraph (1) letter a Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
Tio Pakusadewo was arrested by a member of the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Research Directorate on April 14, 2020 in Cilandak, South Jakarta.
Tio Pakusadewo also tripped over the same case and was arrested on Jalan Ampera, South Jakarta on December 22, 2017
The police confiscated evidence in the form of 1.06 grams in three plastic clip packs, a gas lighter, a cell phone unit, a bong, and a cup.
In the previous case, the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court sentenced the actor who won the Citra Cup on July 24, 2018.
