Assaulting Police Members during a Drug Dealer Raid Still at Large
JAKARTA - A member of the North Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Research Unit named AKP P. Siahaan became a victim of the stabbing when he raided the headquarters of a drug dealer in the Koja area, North Jakarta. The victim suffered an injury to the back.
Furthermore, the Narcotics Research Unit member who was the victim of the stabbing was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital to undergo intensive treatment by the medical team. Meanwhile, the police are still pursuing the perpetrators of the stabbing of the members of the National Police.
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Gidion Arif Setyawan confirmed that one of his members was a victim of violence while making an arrest. The incident occurred last Thursday, February 9th.
At the time of the incident, the victim was arresting a DPO drug dealer in the Koja area.
"So, the North Jakarta Metro Police Satnarkoba team while carrying out a law enforcement operation in an area in North Jakarta, in Koja to be precise, was attacked", said Commissioner Gidion, Saturday, February 11.

The Narcotics Research Unit was attacked by residents who were suspected of being relatives of drug suspects.
"During the process of being arrested and taken to the Police Headquarters, one of the members was attacked by a resident", he said.
Commissioner Gidion explained, the perpetrator stabbed AKP Siahaan with a sharp weapon of the type of samurai sword. The perpetrator stabbed the victim in the back causing Siahaan to suffer an injury to the back.
"The perpetrator with a sharp weapon stabbed him from behind. The wound was in his back", he said.
