Making Residents Uneasy, Police Arrest Two Provocateurs In Cijawa Village

SERANG – Deputy Chief of Police Serkot AKBP Hujra Soumena held a case of brawls carried out by teenagers in the jurisdiction of the Serang City Police.

"Today we are releasing a case of a brawl that occurred in Cijawa Village, Serang District a few days ago which was arrested by members of the Serkot Police Criminal Investigation Unit," Hujra said in a written statement, Friday 10 February.

There were 2 perpetrators who were successfully arrested by investigators in this brawl case.

"The perpetrators we have secured, SA (18) and FM (19)," he said.

It was explained that the perpetrators rode a Honda Beat motorbike on Sunday, February 5 at around 03.00 WIB, they carried sharp weapons into the village.

Those who knew immediately reported it to the police.

"Evidence of 2 sharp weapons of the sickle type, 1 sharp weapon of the samurai type (katana), and 1 motorbike unit were also secured," he explained.

The article that is suspected is Article 2 paragraph (1) of Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 which carries a penalty of 10 years in prison.
