200 Simple Healthy Instant Homes 'Risha' Are Completely Built For Cianjur Earthquake Victims

CIANJUR - The Directorate General of Housing of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) noted that the construction of 200 units of Simple Healthy Instant Houses (Risha) for the relocation of earthquake victims in Cianjur, West Java has been 100 percent completed and ready for occupancy.

Head of the Java II Housing Provider Implementation Center (P2P), Directorate General of Housing Ministry of PUPR Kiagoos Egie Ismail said that for relocation housing in Cilaku District, the construction has been completed and all that remains is to build social facilities and public facilities.

"The earthquake-resistant housing complex in Sirnagalih Village, Cilaku District, just needs to complete the construction of several supporting facilities, such as parks, several access roads, and a community meeting hall," he said as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 9.

Facilities that are in the completion stage of connecting PDAM's clean water pipes to 20 houses are confirmed to be complete within the next 2 days, while electricity connections have already been installed in all houses that have been built.

As for worship facilities, his party is renovating a mosque that previously existed at the Cianjur Environmental Service Office (DLH) location, so that relocated residents can use it to carry out religious activities apart from congregational prayers.

"I have communicated with the Regent of Cianjur Herman Suherman to immediately carry out the handover this week because all the housing units have been built and are habitable, we have prepared documents for the handover," he added.

His party, said Kiagoos, will fully hand over the authority to administer the certificates of the 200 housing units to the Cianjur Regency Government, then the Cianjur Regent will process the certificates.

"For the certificate, it will be the business of the Cianjur Regent, we will only hand over the housing units," he said.
