Participating In The Crypto Literacy Month, Indodax Galakak Edukasi
JAKARTA - Crypto literacy month is an educational program organized from CoFTRA is officially held from Thursday 2 February 2023 to 28 February 2023.
This program is motivated by the increasing number of crypto investors in Indonesia, the increasing volume of crypto trading transactions at all times and negative crypto-related issues. So that education related to crypto assets is needed in Indonesia.
With the Crypto Literacy Month, it is hoped that it will have the aim of creating awareness and providing an understanding of crypto and as a means of establishing good relations with stakeholders.
"As the first crypto exchange and has been operating for 9 years in Indonesia, we want to continue educating the public about crypto. Seeing the increasingly massive public interest related to crypto makes us more active to provide continuous education, and we are ready to support the Crypto Literacy Month program organized by CoFTRA," explained Indodax CEO Oscar Darmawan, in a written statement, Monday, February 6.
For crypto literacy programs that have been run, Indodax has an educational channel called Indodax Academy. The content can be enjoyed in the form of writing articles about blockchain and crypto, audio forms in the form of Indodax podcasts or in the form of visual audio such as educational videos that air on Youtube).
"In this Crypto Literacy Month, Indodax will present an interesting program so that the educational messages we convey can be easily received by the public. We also open our hands to the media or communities that are willing to cooperate with us to help us in educating the public," explained Oscar.
The head of Plt CoFTRA Didid Noordiatmoko in his official statement, hopes that when the Crypto Literacy Month event is over, he wants the public to be more aware and know better, understand more, do not go blind and investing in crypto is not just a follow-up.
Based on data from CoFTRA, the total number of crypto investors from 2020-2022 continues to increase significantly. At the end of 2020 the number of crypto investors was at 4 million investors.
In 2021 it will increase very drastically to 11.2 million investors and by the end of 2022 crypto investors will grow to 16.55 million investors. The total volume of transactions in 2021 also increased to Rp859.4 trillion throughout 2021, growing 1,224 percent compared to the transaction value in 2020 of Rp64.9 trillion.
