PALANGKA RAYA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Gunung Mas Regency (Gumas), Central Kalimantan Province, asked local residents to be aware of the flooding of the river that still has the potential to expand. "The flooding that occurred in a number of areas is currently expected to expand in other villages/kelurahan, whose positions are downstream of the river. It also suggested that people can evacuate in safe places both in neighboring houses, relatives or families who are not affected by the flood overflow of the river. In the period January 30 to February 2, there were 3,595 people in Gumas Regency affected by the flood. They are scattered in Damang Batu, Kahayan Hulu Utara, Tewah, and Kurun sub-districts. As well as the details, 400 people in Tumbang Marikoi Village and 200 people in Lawang Kanji Village, Damang Batu District. 350 people in Tumbang Miri Village, North Hulu Kahayan District.
