Duel Schedule For Tyson Fury Vs Oleksandr Usyk Is Still Teka-Teki, But Places Almost Pasti In Saudi Arabia
JAKARTA The schedule for the boxing battle between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk for the fight for the heavyweight title is undeniable and continues to change. The latest report states that representatives of the two fighters have recently continued to discuss determining the right time.
They are still trying to agree on the location and date of the fight to be held.
For now, Saudi Arabia is said to be at the forefront of the duel location list for the two boxers who controlled all the belts in the heavyweight division. Meanwhile, Wembley Stadium is only included in the reserve option.
The report also claims that Usyk has agreed to this fight being held in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Fury needs to do the same to secure the fight.
Fury himself doesn't seem to mind a duel in Arabia even though Wembley's home is more profitable. He previously said he was ready to get into the ring anywhere as long as he made lucrative money.
"I am a fighter who likes to fight. I will go to a place where the money is. In Saudi Arabia, in Hong Kong, or in Derek Chisora's back garden," he said.
"I'm looking for money. That's what I did. I went there, let my coconuts get beaten to make a few pounds. That's an obsession and that's why it's hard to ignore it," he added.
Fury and Usyk will step into the ring to risk a record equally unbeaten in their careers. Fury has so far bagged 33 wins (24 KOs) in one series from 34 duels, while Usyk has 20 wins (13 KOs).
Fury got his last win over Derek Chisora last December. Meanwhile, Usyk forced Anthony Joshua to suffer a third defeat in his career during a rematch last August.
