PDI-P Holds A Movement To Care For The Motherland To Build Indonesian Leadership From Young People

The PDI-P is holding a Community Care Movement in Bandung, West Java, Saturday, January 28 as an effort to inflame the spirit of young people in building Indonesia's leadership for the world.

"We are taking care of the Motherland movement in West Java, in Bandung, the City of Struggle," said Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP Hasto Kristiyanto in Bandung, West Java, Saturday, January 28.

Hasto explained that the Pertiwi Care Movement had been held for four consecutive years and was specifically held in West Java, Saturday, starting from caring for estuarines and springs from Hulu Sungai Citarum, Sungai Ciliwung, and several botanical gardens.

"Why is this event being held in Bandung? Because we want to encourage the spirit of Indonesian youth in building Indonesia's leadership for the world, considering that Bandung has laid a very important history, which has helped change world history through the holding of the Asia-African Conference," he explained as quoted by ANTARA.

The activity was also part of a series of PDI-P's 50th Anniversary as well as the anniversary of PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. The activity began with the event Ngobrol Bareng (Ngobras) Hasto Kristiyanto at the DPC Office in Bandung, Friday, January 27.

Furthermore, the Indonesian Love Gymnasium (Sicita) was carried out on Saturday, followed by Hasto Kristiyanto, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, a number of invited guests, and the people of Bandung. After the exercise, the activity was continued by taking a leisurely walk and planting trees in Taman Saparua, Bandung. The movement to care for the Motherland was held throughout the West Java region.
