Rubella Vaccination In Biak Successfully, Until 2023 January Zero Campak Cases In Children
BIAK - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Biak Numfor, Papua reported that no Campak cases had been found or zero cases in children. The health office continues to increase the Rubella vaccine which is considered successful in suppressing the spread of Campak.
Head of Disease Control and Prevention Division, Biak Numfor District Health Office (Dinkes), Ruslan Epid said that during 2022 to January 2023 Biak Numfor, there were still zero (zero) cases of child rubella▁dirinyacerption.
"The achievement of the rubella vaccine for children in Biak Numfor Regency is the highest in Papua Province as much as 108.64 percent of the target of 23 thousand children," Ruslan told ANTARA, Thursday, January 27.
For this reason, Ruslan asked the public to actively invite their children to participate in immunizations in health services.
Ruslan said his party was trying to keep providing health insurance to children, including polio and others.
He asked the child's parents to follow immunizations for children provided with government health facilities.
Ruslan admitted that immigration, rubella and polio vaccination services for children must be followed in order to keep children from getting sick.
"Yes, until now, Biak Numfor's status remains zero or there are no cases of intimidation, so parents are diligent in bringing their children to Posyandu and government health facilities to get children's vaccines," said Head of P2P Ruslan Epid.
