Deputy Governor: Wisma Athletes Under Control
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Riza Patria emphasized that the COVID-19 treatment area at Wisma Atlet could still accommodate positive patients when an addition occurred. He said, the availability of places is still considered sufficient.
"Regarding the Wisma Atlet Hospital, thank God it is still under control, it is still sufficient of course we will continue to supervise, observe, pay attention," Riza told reporters on Sunday, December 27.
In addition, Riza also said that his party was preparing regulations to increase the availability of drugs and others so that the handling of this outbreak could be done optimally.
"Including an increase in the number of hospitals, laboratories, the number of beds, ICU rooms, vitamun, medicines, masks, PPE and so on," he explained.
Riza claims, the DKI Jakarta provincial government always provides for the needs of positive patients with COVID-19.
"We make sure that DKI Jakarta is not only available but ready, sufficient and even more than what is needed. We always prepare other needs and we anticipate sharing possibilities," said Riza.
Patients confirmed to be positive for Covid-19 who were treated at the Emergency Hospital of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Jakarta reached 3,361 people on December 27. This number is an accumulation with the previous data after the addition of 172 people.
Based on data from the Head of Information for the Joint Defense Areas Command (Kogabwilhan) I Aris Mudian, inpatients confirmed that Covid-19 in Towers 4, 6 and 7 touched 3,361 people.
