Megawati Pamer Many Want To Register To PDIP: Seabrek-abrek Now

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri said that many wanted to join her party.

This was conveyed in his remarks at the PDIP 50th Anniversary event at JiExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Initially, Megawati invited her party cadres to stand up and do the greetings of Pancasila.

"I ask everyone to stand up, I teach them there are new greetings, apart from Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka. So, for those who are PDI-P I ask to stand up," Megawati said in front of her cadres, Tuesday, January 10.

Megawati said that this greeting must be done by cadres. Moreover, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia also serves as Chair of the Steering Committee of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP).

However, at that time there were also ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet such as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto, and Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono attended the event.

In addition, Minister of KKP Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs Teten Masduki and Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi were also present.

"If you feel guests, don't stand up," said Megawati jokingly.

"But if it is bounded by the PDI-P...," he continued without continuing his statement and his statement was greeted by laughter from the cadres and guests who attended.

Then, Megawati said that her party was indeed being targeted by many people who wanted to do politics. "You know, you know, those who want to enter the PDI-P are now whole," he said to laughter and applause from his cadres.

After joking, Megawati then greeted Salam Pancasila. He asked his cadres when he said Salam Pancasila, then the others welcomed him with the screams of independence three times.

"Greetings to Pancasila," said Megawati.

"Freedom, independence, independence," shouted the PDIP cadres welcoming them.
