The Governor Of NTB To Ormas: Religion Is Demanded By The Community To Offer An Integrated Solution

NTB - Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Zulkieflimansyah invites religious community organizations (ormas) in his area to keep up with the times. Mainly related to challenges in science, the environment and technology.

"Now, one of the challenges to Islamic organizations is adaptive to environmental change, especially technological issues," said Zulkieflimansyah when opening the online 'Musyawarah Region Wahdah Islamiyyah NTB' from Mataram, NTB, Sunday, January 8, confiscated by Antara.

Zulkieflimansyah assessed that the COVID-19 that has occurred in recent years has provided valuable lessons for the community.

He said that people who initially prayed with meeting prayers had to be away or physical distancing. The COVID-19 pandemic in the end, demands that the community make peace with the situation.

"Religion is demanded by the community to offer solutions that are pleasing to them, including religious organizations," he said.

Bang Zul, as the Governor of NTB is familiarly called, explained that the development of science and technology in the future will be even more extraordinary. Therefore, religious organizations must not ignore the progress of science and technology.

Therefore, he hopes that this activity can produce programs that unite the community.

"Hopefully there will be programs that can be collaborated with the NTB Provincial Government," he said.

Chairman of the Committee Mulyadin said that the activity carried the theme "Strengthening Solidarity and Collaboration in Overcoming Community and Nation Problems Towards a Gemilang NTB.

Involving all Wahdah Islamiyyah cadres and administrators throughout NTB, both provincial and district and city level administrators

"Hopefully what the Governor of NTB said will motivate both morally and materially on the work of da'wah in the future," he said.
