Babymetal Celebrates 10 Years With Greatest Hits Album

JAKARTA - Japanese pop-metal band BABYMETAL celebrated its tenth anniversary with the release of a greatest-hits album entitled 10 Babymetal Years.

Ten songs were featured on ten special editions of the album, including the Regular Edition released on CD and vinyl; First Press Limited Edition A, contains Blu-ray with 16 Babymetal music videos; First Press Limited Edition B, which comes on a special vinyl size CD cover containing ten recent photos of Su-metal and Moametal; and First Press Limited Edition C, which includes a Blu-ray of 10 Legend Movies, a special video of ten fan-picked songs in the 10 Legend Songs Tournament.

Members of Babymetal's fan club, The One, can also purchase The One Edition A, which includes a karuta (Japanese playing card) battle set; and The One Edition B, which came with the "Chronicle Set", featured video interviews with band members.

Also available are the Su-metal Edition, Moametal Edition, and Kobametal Edition, each of which comes with three different Prophet Cards included in all other editions mentioned and each with a unique serial code.

The band's three member editions also contain ten songs chosen by each member from their personal favorite that the band has released. The special X Edition will arrive at a later date and will come with the mystery item Only The Fox God Knows, which will serve as the final piece of the puzzle for 10 Babymetal Years.

Meanwhile, a book about Babymetal's first ten years, Bessatsu Kadokawa Souryoku Tokushuu, was released in Japan in October.

This book contains lengthy interviews with Su-metal and Moametal as well as never-before-heard stories from band producer Kobametal from Babymetal's decades-long history, photos taken from live performances, discussions between Demon Kakka and Kobametal, and much more.
