The Change In 2023 In Bogor Should Not Be Petasan
JAKARTA - The Bogor City Government, West Java, reminded the public that the lifting of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) still does not allow them to blow up firecrackers and crowds that cause security disturbances.
"We participated in the revocation of PPKM by the central government, but we reminded that firecrackers, still not allowed, celebrate New Year's Eve celebrations in hotels, or in public places but still maintain health protocols," said Bogor Mayor Bima Arya during a patrol at New Year's Eve 2023 at Bogor City Hall, Saturday, December 31 evening.
Bima Arya asked joint officers from the National Police, TNI and Satpol PP to work together to monitor every potential crowd points, such as Bogor City Square, Kujang Monument and other crucial points in the border area.
In the apple which lasted approximately 10 minutes, Bima was accompanied by Deputy Mayor of Bogor Dedie A. Rachim, Head of Bogor City Police, Kombes Pol. Susatyo Purnomo Condro, KasatpolPP Agustiansyah and Dandim 0606 Bogor City Colonel Inf. Ali Akhwan.
Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro reminded officers to remain alert to anticipate potential security disturbances in the midst of the crowd on New Year's Eve 2023.
According to him, the community certainly wants to crowd because PPKM has been revoked and there are no road blockages allowed, so people will mingle.
With the elimination of PPKM, the public is also allowed to spread in existing public spaces.
"So I want, since my command, 5 to 10 minutes when there is a potential for friction, at least one officer has been at the location to be anticipated quickly," he said, quoted from ANTARA.
After the apple at Bogor City Hall, a group of the Bogor City Government patrol team together with the police and TNI and Satpol PP moved to the city Square.
According to ANTARA's observation at the location, residents began crowding the Bogor City Square since it was opened with the arrival of the patrol team. Residents flocked to Bima Arya and his entourage to take a photo together.
