Female Sickle In A Neighbor's Motorcycle For The Life Of Her Husband And 3 Children
JAKARTA - A middle-aged woman with the initials SU (51) was arrested by the Tambora Police for the theft of a motorbike belonging to her neighbor. SU took action in front of the victim's house named Anwar in Gang Gerindo IV, South Duri Village, Tambora.
According to SU's confession in front of the police, the woman from Cilacap, Central Java was forced to steal because she was the backbone of the family. This is because her income as a household assistant is not enough to support her three children. Meanwhile, her husband is an elderly man.
Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama, after receiving a report of the theft from the victim named Anwar, the police immediately made an arrest. The perpetrator can be arrested because the victim is his own neighbor.
"The victim and the perpetrator have known each other since two years ago because they are neighbors, a neighboring place to live. The Tambora Police conducted an investigation armed with CCTV footage around the crime scene," said Kompol Putra when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, December 29.
Furthermore, the perpetrator was arrested at his home in South Duri Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta on Monday, December 26.
"The incident began when the SU perpetrator saw the victim's motorbike parked with a key hanging because it was left behind by the owner. Then the perpetrator's evil intention arose to commit theft," he said.
The perpetrator's mode of theft was to take the key first and keep it for 3 days. Then when it was quiet, the victim's motorbike was just taken away by the perpetrator SU and sold to a relative with the initials PA (58) for IDR 1.8 million.
Finding his motorbike not on the spot, Anwar reported the incident to the Tambora Police. After the arrest of the perpetrator, the police carried out developments and succeeded in arresting the stolen motorbike collector with the initials PA. The two perpetrators, SU and PA, are still undergoing investigation at the Tambora Police Station.
