The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Ensures That The Theft At The KPK Prosecutor's Home Is Not Upset At The Trial At The Corruption Court
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has ensured that theft at the residence of one of its prosecutors will not hinder the trial. Legal proceedings in court, including at the Corruption Court at the Yogyakarta District Court will continue.
"Regarding the trial process for the case that is being handled, of course it will continue," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, December 27.
Ali said the documents brought by the thief were a copy. In addition, the court also has the required documents.
"Because the case files have been transferred to the corruption court and are also members of the other KPK prosecutors team," he said.
The house of one of the KPK prosecutors was burglarized. There are laptops and important documents that are missing.
Regarding the missing documents, the anti-corruption commission said it had something to do with the case being tried at the Corruption Court at the Yogyakarta District Court.
The prosecutor who was burglarized was one of the heads of the prosecution task force (Kasatgas) with the initials FAN. The KPK hopes that the perpetrators will be arrested and held accountable for their actions.
