PKB Spokesperson Considers Umar Hasibuan's Satire To General Dudung, Not Reflecting The PKB That Supports The TNI
PKB spokesman Dira Martamin assessed that Umar Hasibuan's statement insinuating Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman regarding grant funds from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government did not represent the PKB's attitude.
"That's all the time, the statement is personal, does not represent PKB as a party," Dira said as quoted by Antara, Saturday, December 24.
Dira said, Umar Hasibuan's statement was made through his personal Twitter account, then many were quoted by news channels. As if it became the party's attitude.
Dira continued, the party created by Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin had nothing to do with the amount of grant funds given by former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to the Jaya Kodam which was then questioned by General Dudung.
According to Dira, the TNI is a national defense force that must continue to be supported to strengthen itself with sophisticated weapons and superior skills.
"The General Chairperson of PKB advised to continue to support the TNI in building strategic cooperation in all sectors," he said.
Previously, General Dudung regretted that Kodam Jaya only received a grant of Rp. 16 billion from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, which at that time was led by Anies Baswedan. He considered that amount very small compared to the DKI Provincial Government grant funds to other military units.
This statement was commented on by Umar Hasibuan through his personal Twitter account @UmarHasibuan77, while linking related news.
"You should be grateful for being given a grant by Anies. Grants from the provincial government are also not for you but the TNI institution," wrote Umar Hasibuan via his Twitter account, @UmarHasibuan77.
