JAKARTA - A young man named RS (24) who works as a public transportation driver was arrested by the police. Hospital was arrested for molesting a teenager in Marindal I Village, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

"The suspect has the initials RS (24) aka Rio, while the victim, who is still a high school student, has the initials PA (17). The victim and the suspect are neighbors," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Patumbak Iptu Police, Philip Purba, quoted by Antara, Saturday, December 19.

Philip said that the incident of sexual immorality took place on Sunday, November 22. At that time the suspect sent a message to the victim asking about the situation of the victim's house.

"After finding out that the victim's house was empty, the suspect came to the victim's house and immediately committed an act like husband and wife to the victim. After that the suspect immediately left the victim," he said.

Then, on Sunday, December 13 at around 11.30 WIB the suspect returned to the victim's house. Where, at that time the victim was sweeping inside the house alone, then the suspect immediately took action against the victim.

After the victim's parents returned home, the victim told the suspect's actions to his parents and immediately reported the incident to the Patumbak Police.

"From this report, the police immediately carried out an investigation and on Tuesday, December 15, at around 01.00 WIB the Patumbak Police Department secured the perpetrators," he said.

As a result of his actions, the suspect is suspected of violating Article 81 paragraph 2 jo article 76D subs article 82 paragraph 1 jo article 76E of the 2016 Indonesian Law concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation on Substitute No.1 of 2016 concerning Child Change, with the threat of a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
