The police arrested RP and his friend with the initials AB for showing suspicious actions while at the South Jakarta Metro Police Station, on Thursday, December 17 at 14.00 WIB.
At that time, members of the South Jakarta Metro Police were carrying out a security simulation in anticipation of the 1812 demonstration at the South Jakarta Metro Police Station by blocking on Jalan Wijaya.
The two youths looked suspicious, until the officers took preventive action by securing the perpetrators.
During the interrogation, both admitted that they wanted to take care of a driver's license. However, the attributes imposed use the identity of the PHB mass organization.
"We did a search, found a sharp knife type hidden in his back," said Jimmy.
The two youths were then arrested and subject to questioning. The results of the interim examination, RP came from Garut since December 12 and stayed in the Petamburan area.
On December 17, 2020, RP and his friends moved from Petamburan to the South Jakarta Metro Police.
"So the reason he was there was an invitation from the WA group to come to the Police," said Jimmy.
The police are still investigating the two of them, to find out their intention to come with sharp weapons, including whether their organization is affiliated with the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
"We have not yet explored whether this is related to FPI or not. What is clear is that the person concerned came from Garut to Petamburan, from Petamburan to the South Jakarta Metro Police Station," said Jimmy.
