From Behind The Window, Anies Meet Kangen With Family During Independent Isolation Due To COVID-19
JAKARTA - Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan was visited by his family at his official residence on Jalan Taman Suropati, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
By uploading a photo on the account of his wife, Fery Farhati, the presence of the family to visit Anies in order to let go of homesickness. The window that bordered the meeting did not prevent Anies and their family from treating their nostalgia.
"Visiting my father. 16 days passed at our house without the presence of @aniesbaswedan who was undergoing independent isolation at the official residence. Missing of course," said Fery, Thursday, December 17.
Fery said, before being infected with COVID-19, Anies was always busy doing activities outside the home. Her children are willing to wait for the father, called Anies, who comes home late at night to get a hug or just to tell him about what happened during the day.
"The figure of the father is always present and sticks to the hearts of the children. This time we want to be there for the father. Letting go of missing a moment from behind the window. With a prayer, hopefully he will get well soon and can gather again together at home," he said.
DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has tested positive for COVID-19 since November 30. This result follows the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria, who previously tested positive since last Friday, November 27.
Anies said that he is currently in good condition and is in the category of people without symptoms (OTG). Now, he is undergoing self-isolation and following treatment procedures set by the medical team.
"I will do independent isolation in a separate place from my family and live alone. Meanwhile, my family will remain in a private residence," said Anies, some time ago.
Anies asked residents for prayers for his recovery. Not to forget, Anies reminded residents to keep strict health protocols. Because, then the risk of contracting COVID-19 is small.
"To all residents, please pray, pray for us to recover quickly, return to full work at the City Hall. Let's be more disciplined in using masks, washing hands, keeping your distance. Efforts must be made to both guard against the risk of transmission," he said.
